Laura Vignale

Laura Maria Vignale grew up in Vancouver and graduated from Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design. She lived in San Francisco for seven years working as a Graphic Designer for Apple, Character, and Stone Yamashita for high profile clients including Nike, Banana Republic, Chronicle Books, and eBay. After living in Tokyo in for ten months, Laura left San Francisco and relocated to New York as Nylon Magazine’s Associate Art Director. At Nylon she also headed up the collaboration with Nylon x Urban Outfitters and worked to establish an international network of talented artists and illustrators. Since then she has collaborated with multiple talented designers and creatives from all over the world, including friend and colleague, Beatrice Santiccioli, Custom Colour Designer in the presentation of her at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan and Peter van Rhoon, Publisher, Editor in Chief and Creative Director of Code Magazine in Amsterdam, to produce a photo documentary about emerging new culture on Apple Campus in Cupertino, California. Most recently, Laura worked directly with stylist and menswear buyer Yuji Takenaka to introduce emerging New York-based fashion label, Dana Lee at New York Fashion Week in March, in efforts to gain exposure and help position her brand within the high-end menswear market both in the US and Japan. Laura currently lives in New York City working as a Freelance Art Director.
