Espen Friberg is an artist and illustrator who was born and lives in Oslo, Norway. Sometime between 2001 and 2006 he founded the design studio Yokoland together with Aslak Gurholt Rønsen before leaving for the US in 2008. His drawings and collages have been exhibited world wide and his illustrations featured in such publications as The New Yorker, The New York Times, and Esquire Russia. Today he still frequently collaborates with Yokoland in addition to making his own work.
