Audrey is a graphic designer based in Montreal. Collecting inspiring imagery on her site Madame AD, traveling through the years and a good eye for interesting colours and shapes have contributed to her great wardrobe and beautiful home. We spent a fun afternoon playing dress up and taking photos. As she took us through her house and closet, she told us what made each garment or object special to her.
I bought the dreamcatcher on the beach in Bali. The old oversized silk blouse is what I like to wear when I wake up. I found it in a thrift shop on St.Viateur in Montreal. The candle has the Chesire cat from Alice in Wonderland and the glass bowl is filled with rocks and seashells I collected from the beaches in Asia, Oceania and the Carribean.
One day my friend Michelle had a moving sale. I found many treasures including this dress which makes me feel like a rockstar! The Sharon Wauchob top is one of my favorites, I love all the details on the sleeves.
I collected these hats during my travels. My favorite one is in the middle, its a gift from my friend Hélène. She brought it back from the Republic of Georgia and its a traditional wool hat that shepherds wear in the Caucascus mountains.
The dress is one of my favorite things to wear in the summer. It makes me feel like a gamine princess! The toy sailboat comes from the Gaspésie region of Québec on the banks of the Saint Lawrence river.
