A Quick Guadalajara Art Tour

Our latest 01 contributor is Claudia Llanza, she lives in Madrid, Spain where she recently got a degree in History of Art and works for Travesía Cuatro gallery and Better Agency.

Recently she flew to Mexico to work the Travesía Cuatro booth at the MACO art fair in Mexico City. Before getting to work she stopped by the city of Guadalajara where Travesía Cuatro has opened a branch and went on an art tour, where she visited Francis Alÿs’ latest show and stopped by a few artists’ studios. Her Guadalajara tour pictures below:

We started off seeing Francis Alÿs at MAZ (Museo de Arte de Zapopan), Guadalajara, Mexico, visiting the Belgian artist’s fascinating exhibition “Fabiola”

Jorge Méndez Blake’s studio visit

When visiting Los Angeles based Eduardo Sarabia’s studio in Guadalajara,  he showed us his new exhibition “Moctezuma’s revenge”, now at Phoenix’s Art museum.

And finally we stopped by Gonzalo Lebrija’s studio.
