The current exhibition at La Tallera, is “El Camino Corto” by Miguel Angel Rojas curated by Maria Belen Saez de Ibarra. The artist used coca leaves, dollar bills in various forms, as well as sand and wall installations and video to illustrate the various paths created by the cocaine industry. From its production and dangerous travelling route to its glamorizing and use by celebrities, whose names written on the wall in cut up dollar bill add a touch of pop to the exhibition.
