Jean-Charles De Castelbajac’s S/S14 collection looks literally drawn on. Playful drawings and hand drawn text dominate the landscape. The color blocks and silhouettes of hands shape the dresses and tops while painted white outlines and drawn-on belts create structure on loose garments. Primary colors, white, gold lamé and burlap, (and a homemade camo) are paired with some of the great cuts from the 60’s, 70’s with refreshing results. Oh and the lip-shaped glasses are the cherry on the cake.
