01 At The Pickathon Music Festival

01 went on a Summer road trip/camping trip to Pendarvis Farm in Happy Valley, Oregon to attend a grassroots, three day music festival called Pickathon. We watched amazing musical acts like Bill Callahan, Black Mountain, and Lightning Dust jam on outdoor rickety stages and barns, against a beautiful Oregon landscape. Said Bill Callahan before his closing performance – “This might be the best air I’ve ever breathed.” When the shows were done, guests retired to their tents and camped amongst the musicians in the forest, often falling asleep to campfires and songs. Seeing the acts out of the regular setting of a bar or arena definitely created a memorable experience for us. Also, on our way home, we drove by a car burning on the side of the road. Here is some photos and a couple videos that documented our little adventure. Thanks for an amazing time Pickathon! – Redia & Jen
