Mixtape #24: “Cruel Bummer” – Jason Crombie

Mixtape #24 is by Jason Crombie, the editor of New York based Wooooo Magazine. The pocket sized magazine, available at shops such as Colette, Nom de Guerre, Printed Matter and aNYthing, is packed full of q&a interviews in Jason’s signature style- hilarious, honest, candid and revealing – with people such as Parker Posey, Nate Lowman, Aurel Schmidt, David Byrne, Michelle Williams, Thurston Moore, Dan Colen, Agyness Deyn, and Philip Lorca diCorcia. The magazine has released six issues since 2004 and “After a long and miserable sabbatical”, says Jason, “the new Wooooo is dropping early next year. (Issue #7) We’ve been picked up by a legit publisher in the last couple of months, so expect to see four issues per year. We’ll be offering a subscription too, and a bunch of other shit to help make me rich-ish.” Check out the previous issues here. You won’t be sorry.
