Canada’s best psych-rock band are playing the Waldorf in Vancouver this coming Thursday. Their latest album is out on Teepee Records world wide and has been getting heaps of praise. I’ve seen them countless times at this point and it never gets old. Loud and sonic as all hell.
Locals A Pale Blue and Men At Adventure are starting the night off. A Pale Blue’s constantly evolving musical palette has them debuting a list of new material that’s in clear defiance of having themselves pigeonholed as any sort of country-rock outfit. Louder? More riffs? We’ll see… Starting things off is the debut of Men At Adventure. I happened to catch a glimpse of what they’ve been creating in the deep recesses of a DTES basement recently. I can’t say too much about it aside from they are loud. Loud! The members have played in bands such as Hard Drugs, S.T.R.E.E.T.S., Black Rice, Blood Meridian, Pink Mountaintops, etc etc. It’s gonna be good!
