We’re so excited for The Cheaper Show No. 9 , which takes place this Saturday in Vancouver. What once started as a modest exhibition by three artists looking for a means to show their artwork, has emerged into Western Canada’s biggest single night cultural event. The show will be featuring the artwork of 200 international artists selected from a pool of 950 applicants.. all for $200. A few of our contributors and many of our talented friends will be exhibiting their work – including Nathalee Paolinelli, Jeff Otto O’Brien, Niall McClelland, Seth Fluker, Les Ramsay, Dan Siney, Nicholas Pittman, Peter Sutherland, Kyle Scully, Paul Paper, Jeff Hamada, Jeremy Jansen, Mark DeLong, Matthew Brown, Andrew Pommier, Chris Taylor, and Jessica Hans! See the full artist list here.
From the shows website.. “(The show) removes barriers between talented emerging artists, buyers, curators, gallery directors and collectors, creating new channels for engaged interaction. The shows format is unparalleled anywhere in Canada. We showcase hundreds of multi-disciplined artists, based solely on their artistic merit, offering the works at one affordable price, regardless of market value. “
